REDLEG - Artillery - Army Tshirt
$29.00
Red Sleeve on shirt is symbolic of the field artillery branch, nicknamed "Redlegs"
A "Redleg" in the U.S. Army is a proud nickname for a Field Artillery soldier, originating from the scarlet (red) stripes on their uniform trousers, a practice dating back to the 1800s to distinguish them. While primarily referring to artillerymen, the term can also refer to historical Unionist guerrillas in Kansas or even poor whites in the Caribbean, but most commonly signifies the "King of Battle" soldiers.
